Why the Switch from Graphic Design to UX/UI?

From Pretty Pictures to Helpful Designs: As my career progressed, I craved a deeper connection with my audience and  was intrigued by the idea of designing interfaces that were not just visually appealing but also intuitive and user-friendly. Transitioning to UX design allows me to serve my users better by creating designs that genuinely impact their lives.

Understanding People's Needs: Being a designer I've always been curious about why people do what they do. Now, I want to dive deeper and figure out how to design things that people actually want to use. It's like trying to solve a big puzzle, but with a purpose.

Empathy, Parenthood, and UX/UI: They say parenthood changes you, and boy, were they right! Raising two tiny humans has taught me more about empathy than any design school ever could. Just like I've learned to anticipate my kids' needs, I'm eager to apply that same empathy to anticipate the needs of users and create experiences that feel like a warm hug in a digital world.
